IMPORTANT REMINDER to employees who have not yet completed the Inclusive Public Service Survey: The Department of Human Resources is encouraging those who have not yet completed the Inclusive Public Service Survey to please do so. An email containing a link to the online version of the survey was sent by the NWT Bureau of Statistics during the week of May 7th to those who have not yet completed the survey. For those who received a paper copy of the survey, please complete the survey and submit it by mail.
The Government of the Northwest Territories is committed to establishing a public service that is inclusive of all people and that accurately represents the population it serves. This survey, focusing on diversity in the public service, is an initiative launched under 20/20: A Brilliant North, The Public Service Strategic Plan. This survey will provide us with more accurate base-line statistics and correct a long-standing gap in our data. With this information, the Department of Human Resources will be able to better plan for increasing the participation of persons with disabilities
within the public service.
If you haven’t already done so, please complete the survey at your earliest opportunity. Thank you. |
