General Information on Applying for GNWT Job Openings
Whatever your interest or background, we may have the opportunity you are looking for. You will find current job postings for all GNWT positions. Information for Applicants provides details on our job posters, the competition process and how to apply. NWT Community Profiles provide information on all communities in the NWT. The GNWT offers competitive salaries, and all positions include a generous northern living allowance and benefits package, including relocation costs.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. Staffing for all GNWT competitions is carried out in accordance with the Affirmative Action Policy.
If you are currently on probation with the GNWT, you require written permission from your Deputy Head to apply for another position. This written permission should be submitted with your application.
